This is so easy you might not believe it, but trust me, give this a try.
Here’s what you do:
- Sit crosslegged on the floor with a straight back.
- Don’t lean against anything, hold your own torso upright.
- Close your eyes and watch your mind.
- Here is that most important step: when you feel the urge to move, don’t move.
Your mind will take you through a range of thoughts in order to try to force you to move. This is the tool. Once you mind offers to do something productive, then and only then, allow yourself to move and start right away on the task.
I used this technique to write this post! I also filmed a short shoulder mobility video for my YouTube channel. The funny thing is my goal for a week is to write 2 blog posts and 1 video for YouTube.
So in under 30 minutes, I accomplished TWO THIRDS of my weekly creative content goals! BOOM!
